If a Portuguese manuscript is accepted after the ad hoc evaluation process, the manuscript should be translated into English.
Accepted English manuscripts submitted by a non-native English author will be sent to English proofreading. Furthermore, accepted English manuscripts submitted by either native or non-native speakers will be translated into Portuguese.
Authors may have waiver charge for the revision/translations, in case of submitting templates in both languages simultaneously. In such a case, Editorial Boarding will be sure that some authors have flow in both languages and, depending on the quality of the texts, the author will have total waiver charge.
The authors will be responsible for all expenses related to translation and revision processes, either for Portuguese or English languages. Thus, authors must be aware and agree with the payment of those services, which will depend upon the number of words in each manuscript.
Once revision/translation process of the manuscript is finished, it will be published online.
The revision and translation services have the following prices and conditions:
1) Service of revision of the Portuguese: R$ 0,12 per word;
2) Service of translation to Portuguese: R$ 0,22 per word;
3) Names and addressees of the authors, figures, charts, and references are free of charge.
4) Depending on the numbers of pages related to the revision/translation process, there will be discounts per paper; and
5) If the quality of the text will be away from the expected, the IJEP reserve the right to inform corresponding author that the charge can be changed. In the case of authors disagree with the new price, the manuscript will be returned and not published.
